Irish Antique Mahogany Long Case clock "James Gordon of Ballymoney"

Beautiful Painted clock dial with birds to the central dial with makers name and location above a subsiduary date aperture and seconds ring, each corner with painted detail, and painted moon-roller to the arch of the dial.

Case of outstanding quality of good colour and patination, with swan neck pediment ending with rosettes with glazed arched hood door and brass knob.The trunk door of nice flame mahogany above a panel raised above a rectangular base on shaped feet.

The movement of eight day duration, twin train striking a bell above the movement each hour, with painted arched dial incorporating seconds and date subsidiary dials, maker name and location all of superb painting, with weights, pendulum and winding key.

Condition : The case in excellent condition, cleaned and waxed by traditional methods, the clock movement serviced and running with guarantee.
