An Exceptional & Rare Pair of Exhibition Quality, 19th Century Rosewood Card Tables, Circa 1890

An Exceptional & Rare Pair of Exhibition Quality, 19th Century Rosewood Fold Over Card Tables.

Each having a rectangular fold over top with beautiful Rosewood veneers lavishly inlaid with inlay motifs of urns united by string inlay, opening to reveal a shaped green baize with framed gilt tooling.

The Rosewood and inlay veneers also used in the rectangular frieze which also incorporates matching drawers to either side of the central inlay motifs with shaped pierced brass handles.

All raised on tapering reeded and turned supports with under shelf with pierced gallery terminating on shaped legs with matching inlay design and ornate brass supports with original castor's.
